Process

The salmon that we farm at the pristine water of Aysen region are processed in the Sea Flavor processing plant in Puerto Montt, which allows us to have an efficient logistics for the timely dispatch of the orders from our customers of fresh and frozen products.

These facilities has kosher certification and also comply rigorously with the authority's requirements in its quality assurance programs regarding quality and safety: HACCP and the Quality Assurance Program of Sernapesca (PAC). They also have Global GAP, BAP and the BRC (British Retail Consortium) certifications.

At the end of 2016, Cooke Chile acquired the facilities that Marine Harvest Chile had in El Tepual, near Puerto Montt.

We are working to obtain all the necessary approvals from the authorities in a timely manner so that we can start creating jobs and hiring people early in 2017.

Preparation work will include the purchase and installation of processing equipment, work on the water treatment system, IT and Communications systems as well as all the necessary permissions and certifications required by the marketplace, which will turn this plant into the most modern salmon processing plant in Chile.
